What You'll Do:
- Perform specialized examinations in cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular, and electrophysiology studies with precision and care.
- Serve as a lead resource, guiding and supporting medical and clinical staff to optimize team performance.
- Collaborate seamlessly with intra-procedure teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Assist with patient preparation, room setup, and ensure protocols are followed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment to uphold the highest standards of operational excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and elevating customer satisfaction.
- Stay current with advancements in cardiovascular technology through ongoing education and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and accreditation requirements.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in cardiovascular technology or related medical imaging fields.
- Proficiency in performing complex cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read and interpret physician orders and protocols accurately.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in Cardiovascular Technology (RCES or equivalent).
- Experience working in a busy cardiac cath lab environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and accreditation processes.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate's or Bachelors degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related healthcare field.
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a cath lab setting.
Other Requirements:
- Candidates living within 60 miles of Dallas, TX will qualify for a local rate of $100/hour.
- Valid licensure or certification in cardiovascular technology is preferred.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Availability to work dayshift hours as scheduled.
- Travel and other reimbursements available when applicable.
