Are you a dedicated and skilled radiology professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced cardiac cath lab environment? We are seeking a highly motivated Technologist to support our cardiology team during day shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, assist in critical procedures, and contribute to patient care excellence in Midland, Michigan.

What You’ll Do:
  • Prepare radiographic equipment and assist in angiographic and interventional procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
  • Perform quality control checks on cine radiographic images to uphold the highest standards of imaging.
  • Assist in patient preparation, post-procedure care, and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Operate advanced electronic equipment including cardiac output monitors, oxygen saturation devices, hemodynamic tools, and pacemaker programmers to support diagnostic and treatment procedures.

Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in radiologic or technologist roles, particularly within cath labs or interventional radiology.
  • Proficiency in operating radiographic and hemodynamic imaging equipment.
  • Strong understanding of sterile techniques and patient safety protocols.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with physicians and medical staff.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Additional certifications such as RCIS or RT (Registered Technologist) credentials.
  • Experience with cardiac procedures and hemodynamic monitoring.
  • Knowledge of advanced cardiovascular imaging and intervention techniques.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related healthcare field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab, interventional radiology, or similar setting.

Other Requirements:
  • Valid licensure and certifications as required by state and federal regulations.
  • Ability to handle radiation safety protocols and possess current BLS/ACLS certification.
  • Willingness to work during the scheduled day shifts and adhere to all safety standards.
