What You Will Do:
- Serve as the first point of contact for referrals and patients, providing compassionate support throughout their care journey
- Attend patient consultations, assisting with initial examinations and assessments
- Make informed recommendations to referring physicians, patients, and families under the guidance of interventional radiologists
- Perform daily rounds, monitoring patient progress, and effectively communicating updates to the medical team
- Execute radiological procedures in the Cath Lab with precision and adherence to safety standards
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations
Required Skills:
- Current Radiologic Technologist or Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification with state licensure
- Proven experience in interventional radiology or cardiovascular procedures, particularly within a Cath Lab environment
- Strong understanding of radiological equipment, patient safety, and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy clinical setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced imaging technologies or specialized radiology software
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Prior experience working in a hospital or outpatient setting
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance and safety regulations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associate's Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in interventional radiology or similar environment
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced Cath Lab setting is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
- Must possess or be eligible for appropriate state licensure and certification
- Flexibility to work on-site during scheduled shifts; travel is not typically required
- Ability to maintain compliance with all healthcare and safety standards
