What You'll Do:
- Operate CT equipment to conduct high-quality imaging procedures with precision and care.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process under the guidance of the Director of Radiology and the Chief Radiologist.
- Maintain accurate records of all CT exams and procedures.
- Organize supplies, stock necessary materials, and manage scheduling to ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices for imaging and patient care.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in operating computed tomography (CT) equipment.
- Strong understanding of radiologic safety standards and patient care protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center.
- Knowledge of PACS and electronic health record systems.
- Certification in CT imaging (ARRT CT Certification preferred).
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience performing CT scans in a clinical setting.
- Prior experience working in a 24-hour or shift-based environment is a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work a 36-hour shift from Saturday morning to Sunday night.
- Valid state licensure and certification for radiologic technology.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, rotating schedule.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety and protocol guidelines.
