What You'll Do
  • Set up and operate complex CT scanning equipment following safety standards and patient protocols
  • Properly position and immobilize patients for imaging procedures
  • Obtain patient identification, medical history, and allergy information
  • Prepare and administer contrast media intravenously as prescribed by Radiologists
  • Capture, develop, and record diagnostic images for patient records
  • Maintain optimal image quality through calibration and quality control checks
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions, including allergic responses; respond promptly
  • Ensure safety standards are upheld for staff and patients throughout procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies within the department
  • Assist Radiologists and physicians with specialized imaging procedures
  • Document pertinent clinical data to aid diagnosis
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives

What You Need
Required:
  • Michigan State Licensure in Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT or equivalent certification (preferred)
  • 2+ years experience in CT imaging
  • Ability to operate advanced CT equipment and contrast protocols
  • Strong patient care and safety skills

Preferred:
  • Experience in hospital / medical center radiology departments
  • Skills in emergency response and CPR certification
