What Youll Do:- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily CT scans, with X-Ray experience required
- Operate PACS, HIS, and RIS systems efficiently
- Administer IV injections and contrast media as part of diagnostic protocols
- Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and infection control throughout procedures
- Take independent responsibility for technical tasks and troubleshoot imaging equipment
- Maintain department competencies and complete required annual training
- Provide professional communication with patients, staff, and referring physicians
- Support supervision or training of department staff when assigned
What You Need:- Valid CT and X-Ray licenses/certifications for Massachusetts
- Minimum of 1+ years of imaging experience, including CT scans and X-Ray procedures
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment, patient care, and infection control standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:- Previous experience in hospital settings
- Ability to handle varied shifts and manage workload efficiently
About the Assignment:
This position involves working in a busy hospital setting, performing primary diagnostic imaging and CT procedures. The technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality images to assist physicians with diagnoses, administering IV contrast when necessary, and maintaining safety and compliance standards. The facility prioritizes patient care, staff professionalism, and safety.
Important Notes:- No travelers residing within 50 miles of North Adams will be considered.
- All time off requests must be verified at upload; requests during the assignment are limited to 5 days.
- Overtime is 8 hours non-billable, with holiday multipliers at 1.25x.
