Temp - Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) (Varied) Pittsfield, MA

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide range of CT and X-ray procedures, requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
  • Utilize technical skills to facilitate accurate diagnoses, adhering to departmental protocols.
  • Assume responsibilities assigned by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, or Operations Manager, including supervising or instructing department personnel when appropriate.
  • Ensure proper patient care aligning with hospital and departmental policies.
  • Maintain proficiency in operation and troubleshooting of PACS, HIS, RIS, CR, DR, and CT systems.
  • Conduct IV insertions and injections necessary for diagnostic imaging.
  • Practice infection control measures in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Complete mandatory education on blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and maintain departmental competencies.

Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in CT imaging and general X-ray procedures.
  • Strong technical proficiency in operating CT, CR, DR, and PACS systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and Tiger Text formats.
  • Ability to work independently with critical judgment and initiative.
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and patient confidentiality standards.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with troubleshooting imaging equipment.
  • Previous supervisory or instructional experience.
  • Familiarity with hospital information systems beyond PACS and RIS.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification in CT and X-ray.
  • Prior experience in a hospital or clinical imaging environment.
  • At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to start on 05/04/2026.
  • Commitment to adhering to a weekly schedule with no more than 5 days of RTO requests.
  • No travel residency within 50 miles of the facility; include current address in profile.
  • Ability to be reached via voicemail for communication.
  • Willingness to perform primary diagnostic radiology and CT tasks, including IV insertions and injections.
