What Youll Do:
- Prepare the MRI scan room and patients for examinations, ensuring a smooth and comfortable process.
- Administer contrast materials, including IV and oral contrast, and review patient data to ensure accuracy.
- Assist patients with positioning, transport them safely into the exam room, and perform high-quality scans using established protocols.
- Interact with patients, explain procedures, and address questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Prepare and review imaging records, ensuring all images are correctly captured and documented for radiologists.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and imaging standards while supporting diagnostic accuracy.
Required Skills:
- Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
- Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and administering contrast agents.
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow established imaging protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting.
- Knowledge of recent imaging software and technology updates.
- Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse patient population.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Prior MRI technologist experience is highly desirable.
Other Requirements:
- Valid licensure and certification in radiologic technology.
- Ability to work afternoon shifts, with a start date of June 1, 2026.
- Flexibility to adhere to safety and healthcare regulations.
- Relevant travel or reimbursement needs will be supported as applicable.
