What Youll Do
- Prepare MRI scan rooms and position patients for examinations
- Administer contrast agents and perform warm-up protocols on MRI equipment
- Draw and administer IV and oral contrast as necessary, adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct MRI scans with precision, selecting appropriate protocols and coils
- Review patient data and previous images to optimize scan accuracy
- Ensure proper patient identification and image orientation prior to image acquisition
- Prepare clinical documentation and images for radiologists, ensuring completeness and accuracy
What You Need
- Valid state MRI technologist license and ARRT certification
- Minimum of 2 years MRI experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of MRI protocols, patient positioning, and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
