What Youll Do
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging and treatment
- Operate specialized equipment to create images of organs and tissues
- Explain procedures and ensure radiation safety for patients and staff
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment
- Document procedures accurately in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with physicians to support diagnosis and patient care
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to minimize radiation exposure
What You Need
Required:
- Valid state license in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiology
- Proven experience in handling radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment
- Strong understanding of radiation safety practices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain procedures clearly
Preferred:
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine (e.g., NMTCB, ARRT)
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting
