Position Overview

\n

Landing is looking for an experienced Temp or Temp to hire Accountant to support the finance team with various day to day accounting operations. In the short term this role will work with the accounting manager and the broader finance team to finish chart of accounts and data recon project for the organization with an opportunity to expand responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

\n

• \n
• Review, cleanse, and validate accounting and financial data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
• \n
• Perform account reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and research variances to support timely resolution.
• \n
• Assist with data migration, cleanup, and standardization efforts related to accounting records and financial reporting.
• \n
• Analyze transactional data and supporting documentation to correct errors and maintain accurate financial records.
• \n
• Collaborate with accounting team members to investigate and resolve outstanding reconciling items.
• \n
• Maintain organized audit trails and documentation for data corrections and reconciliation activities.
• \n
• Researches various inquiries
• \n
• Other duties, projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

\n

• \n
• 4+ years of experience as an Accountant  managing large volume of data, performing various reconciliations, Payroll, AR/AP, Inventory, GL, P&L, BS, CF etc.
• \n
• Strong GAAP knowledge, Degree/Certification in Accounting, Finance preferred
• \n
• Previous experience in accounting and fast paced CPG/Beauty industry preferred
• \n
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• \n
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs,
• \n
• Able to work with minimal supervision, paying close attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness
• \n
• Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• \n
• Advanced proficiency with excel, vlookups, hlooups, pivots etc.
