    TEMPORARY ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR – HOME HEALTH
     Schedule: Part-Time | 16 Hours
     
    Position Summary
    The Temporary Administrative Coordinator of Home Health Care supports the daily administrative functions of the Home Health Department, including Certified Home Health and Home Support services. This is a temporary position intended to provide departmental coverage and ensure the continuity of essential administrative operations.
     
    Job-Specific Duties

    • Maintains relationships with customers, managers, and Team Members through ongoing communication, setting priorities, and resolving problems
    • Triages telephone calls related to Home Health and Resident Services, including calls from residents, family members, physicians, caregivers, vendors, interdisciplinary team members, and Team Members
    • Completes administrative projects as requested by management
    • Tracks and orders medical and office supplies as directed
    • Tracks equipment available for lending
    • Maintains department forms electronically and updates them as needed
    • Supports managers with staff scheduling as needed
    • Completes end-of-month billing for Home Support
    • Processes, verifies, coordinates, and tracks physician orders, face-to-face documentation, and incoming and outgoing mail
    • Obtains physician attestation letters
    • Maintains Resident Services files, including electronic records and paper charts
    • Coordinates and maintains the current resident list, emergency disability list, hospital board, and hospital updates
    • Follows all Emergency Management Plan procedures, including the Emergency Dining Plan and Life Safety policies
    • Actively participates in fire and evacuation drills
    • Meets department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements
    • Complies with OSHA safety regulations and all applicable local laws concerning health, safety, and the environment
    Supervisory Responsibilities
    None.
     
    Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Two to three years of administrative experience required
    • Medical assistant experience preferred
    • Home Health, healthcare, or medical-office experience preferred
    Satisfactory completion of a background investigation is required for this position.

    Pay Range: $23-$24/hour
    Individual compensation within this range is based on a candidate’s specific qualifications, including education, overall experience, relevant experience, and specific skills.
