• Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Duration: Approximately 8-12 weeks

• Pay: Up to $60/hour, depending on experience

CornerStone Professional Placement is partnering with a large organization to hire an experienced Temporary Benefits Manager for an immediate leadership opportunity. This role will oversee a small benefits team while managing benefit programs that support approximately 7,500 employees and 3,000 retirees.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of benefits professionals and temporary administrative staff

• Oversee the administration of employee benefit programs

• Manage self-funded benefit plans and related fund activities

• Partner with benefit vendors to improve service delivery and monitor performance

• Analyze utilization trends and make recommendations for plan design improvements

• Develop employee education and communication strategies

• Collaborate with HR leadership and key stakeholders on strategic initiatives

• Ensure exceptional customer service and operational excellence

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

• 5+ years of employee benefits experience

• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience

Preferred

• CEBS, CGBA, or similar professional certification

• Experience managing self-funded health plans

• Experience with mid-sized employer benefit programs

• Public sector or municipal experience is a plus

• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
