Temporary Cash Accountant

What your future day will look like:

• Upload and reconcile daily bank activity, ensuring all cash transactions are accurately reflected in the general ledger.
• Research, analyze, and apply incoming cash receipts to customer accounts while resolving unapplied cash items.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Accounting teams to reconcile discrepancies and support payment accuracy.
• Process refunds, recoveries, write-offs, and other cash-related transactions in accordance with company procedures.
• Prepare cash application reports and support month-end close activities to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Maintain strong internal controls and participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Type: Contract

To be a champion in this role, you will need:

• Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent accounting experience required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis functions
• Experience working in a high-volume transactional accounting, cash application, or treasury environment preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve discrepancies independently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience with SAP and multinational business environments is a plus
