Temporary Certified Payroll Specialist
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Certified Payroll Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis. (One - two months) This is a short-term, in-person position based in Canton, focused on helping us get our certified payroll reporting up to date.
Key Responsibilities
Complete State and Federal Certified Payroll reports accurately and on time
Verify that temporary labor is being paid at the correct prevailing wage rates
Review and confirm that Certified Payroll reports submitted by temp labor are filled out correctly
Enter certified payroll data into various systems, including LCP Tracker, Reunion, DSPTCH, and NY DOL
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, with a focus on Prevailing Wage and/or Certified Payroll
Demonstrated hands-on experience completing and reviewing Certified Payroll reports
Proficiency with payroll reporting systems (LCP Tracker, Reunion, DSPTCH, NY DOL, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Nice to Have
Formal payroll certifications (preferred but not required)
