Description

Temporary Clinical Coordinator position to provide coverage during the leaves of the Radiography Program's current Clinical Coordinators. The position will provide clinical education oversight, including clinical site visits, student evaluations, competency oversight, communication with clinical affiliates, and support of students and clinical instructors. The position reports to the Radiography Program Director and is necessary to maintain continuity of clinical education and program operations during the leave period.

This is a temporary position with an approximate end date of March 31, 2027.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Correlate and coordinate clinical education and evaluate its effectiveness
• Participate in didactic and/or clinical instruction
• Support the Program Director to assure effective program operations
• Participate in accreditation and assessment processes
• Maintain current knowledge of the discipline, educational methodology, program policies, procedures, and student progress
• Maintain communication with the Program Director, College personnel, and clinical affiliates regarding student placement and site evaluations
• Identify at-risk students and develop appropriate action plans
• Maintain required student clinical evaluation and procedure records
• Participate in program and learning outcomes assessment.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree and current ARRT certification and registration.

Experience Required: One year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program; current ARRT certification and registration; and two years of clinical experience in the discipline.

Skills/Abilities /Knowledge /Other Requirements:

• Proficiency in teaching methodology, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and advising.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, College personnel, clinical sites, and the community.
• Ability to learn and utilize online learning management systems and clinical compliance systems, including Trajecsys.

Additional Information

INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS:

Collaborates with department members and/or the Compliance, Assessment and Research team to support planning, assessment, data collection and reporting for continuous improvement of the college.
