Temporary Concierge Custodian

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Temporary Concierge Custodian to join our facilities maintenance team. This role is vital in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our spaces. You'll be responsible for maintaining an immaculate, professional environment that tenants and visitors notice — from gleaming lobbies to spotless restrooms and everything in between.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining a welcoming environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of a professional and inviting atmosphere while gaining valuable custodial and facilities management experience.

Duties

• Vacuum, sweep & mop all floor surfaces
• Clean & sanitize restrooms thoroughly
• Empty trash & recycling bins building-wide
• Wipe down elevators, glass & lobbies
• Restock paper goods & soap dispensers
• Clean break rooms & conference rooms
• Report facility issues to building management
• Perform periodic deep-clean & floor care

Skills

• 1+ year proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial settings.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout shift.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and takes pride in a job well done.
• Professional appearance and positive interaction with tenants.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety guidelines meticulously.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing supplies and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and respond professionally to requests.
• Must pass background check
• Reliable transportation required
