Temporary Custodian Associate

Start your new career as a Temporary Custodian Associate with MAU at Robert Bosch in Summerville, SC. As a Temporary Custodian Associate, you will help prepare the Bosch-SMV warehouse for an important site visit by performing detailed cleaning, light painting touch-ups, and general housekeeping throughout the facility. This is a temporary project assignment through approximately September 1 (about 2 months)

What Were Looking For:

• No previous custodial experience required
• No high school diploma or GED required
• Basic painting experience is helpful but not required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
• Comfortable using a ladder safely to complete cleaning tasks
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning duties in a warehouse environment

What Youll Do as a Temporary Custodian Associate:

• Wipe down all 164 warehouse dock doors
• Clean yellow dock guards attached to each dock door
• Perform light yellow paint touch-ups on dock guards and other designated areas
• Clean approximately 42 warehouse rack aisles
• Sweep aisle ends and wipe down rack guards
• Touch up yellow paint on rack guards as needed
• Thoroughly mop the white floor strip between dock doors
• Wipe down and clean guard rails throughout the warehouse
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and supervisor instructions
• Use standard custodial equipment, including mops, brooms, cleaning cloths, cleaning supplies, and ladders
• Follow the warehouse dress code
