What You'll Do
As a Data Entry & Order Entry Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Performing data entry and managing digital and paper documents accurately for purchasing department
- Typing, formatting, and preparing various documents as needed
- Filing and organizing office records to ensure easy access and confidentiality
- Supporting additional office functions through cross-training and multitasking
- Assisting team members with general administrative duties to ensure office productivity
- Reviewing insurance documents, files, and lease information for accuracy and completeness
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Previous administrative experience in either Accounting or Purchasing required
- Previous office or administrative experience required
- Ability to comfortably enter high-volume amounts of data into a computer with accuracy, efficiency, and fast-pace
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High energy with a team-oriented attitude
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance with the ability to work on short notice
