Temporary Election Ballot Processing Clerk
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to support the ballot processing operation for an upcoming election. This temporary assignment involves opening ballot envelopes, separating ballots, sorting materials, and preparing ballots for tabulation in a secure and confidential environment.
This is a seated position requiring repetitive hand movements, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain focus while performing repetitive tasks.
Must be available for all scheduled dates
Responsibilities
Open and sort ballot envelopes
Separate ballots from mailing materials
Count and verify ballot materials
Follow written and verbal instructions
Maintain accuracy and confidentiality throughout the process
Identify and report discrepancies or machine issues
Assist with ballot preparation activities as assigned
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions carefully
Dependable and punctual
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
Ability to remain seated for extended periods
Ability to maintain confidentiality
MUST BE 18 AND MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST.

Training Requirement
A paid training session will be held on either:
July 28 at 10:00 AM, or
July 29 at 10:00 AM
Candidates must attend one training session prior to the assignment.
