Temporary Financial Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This role will support financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis efforts while partnering with business leaders to provide insights that drive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.

• Assist with month-end close activities, financial statement review, and account reconciliations.

• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and strategic initiatives.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations to management.

• Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and operational trends.

• Gather and interpret large sets of financial data from multiple sources.

• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles and help identify opportunities for cost savings.

• Prepare ad hoc reports and presentations for leadership as needed.

• Collaborate with accounting and operational teams to ensure financial accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

• 3+ years of financial analysis, accounting, or related experience.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial modeling.

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, or similar.

• Ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings effectively.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Advanced Excel and data analytics skills.

• Experience in manufacturing, healthcare, nonprofit, or corporate environments is a plus.

Pay Details: $39.00 to $51.00 per hour
