California Prime Recovery is seeking a compassionate and dependable Clinical Therapist to join our virtual treatment program in a temporary, full-time capacity. This position will provide clinical coverage during an employee’s extended leave and is expected to begin September 21, 2026.


The anticipated assignment will continue through approximately March 2027. Although this role is being hired specifically for leave coverage, the selected candidate may be considered for continued employment if an appropriate position is available at the conclusion of the assignment. Continued employment is not guaranteed.


This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician seeking several months of consistent, full-time work in a fully virtual setting while gaining experience providing structured mental health and substance use disorder treatment.


Position Responsibilities

•  Provide individual therapy to an assigned virtual caseload. 
•  Facilitate structured virtual group therapy. 
•  Complete biopsychosocial assessments and ASAM or LOCUS level-of-care assessments. 
•  Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans. 
•  Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes. 
•  Participate in weekly clinical and interdisciplinary team meetings. 
•  Coordinate care with case management, psychiatry, and other members of the treatment team. 
•  Monitor client progress, engagement, safety concerns, and discharge readiness. 
•  Maintain professional, ethical, and clinically appropriate boundaries in a virtual treatment environment. 
•  Follow all applicable confidentiality, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
