Temporary HR Generalist
We are seeking a professional, responsive, and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support our client's Human Resources department in the La Vergne area. This temporary role will assist with a variety of HR functions including employee support, onboarding, HR administration, benefits, payroll support, and maintaining HR records. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of HR experience and enjoy working closely with employees, managers, and operations teams in a fast-paced environment.

This temporary assignment is expected to begin in August or September 2026 and continue through April 2027.

Temporary HR Generalist Compensation and Hours:
  • $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
  • Monday – Friday
  • Approximately 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Little to no overtime expected
  • Temporary assignment expected to run from August/September 2026 through April 2027
Temporary HR Generalist Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Experience supporting employee onboarding, HR administration, and employee relations activities
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling employee matters
  • Experience with payroll, benefits administration, leave management, or HRIS systems preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with BambooHR, Paylocity, or similar HR systems is a plus
  • Bilingual skills are helpful but not required
  • Ability to work closely with operations leadership and respond promptly to employee and managerial needs
Temporary HR Generalist Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support day-to-day Human Resources operations and administrative functions
• Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS system
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, background screenings, and new hire orientation activities
• Answer employee questions and provide general HR support and guidance
• Assist with benefits administration, employee enrollments, and benefit-related inquiries
• Support payroll processes and maintain accurate employee data and records
• Assist with leave administration, time-off tracking, and employee documentation
• Support employee relations activities, investigations, and disciplinary processes as needed
• Coordinate offboarding activities and maintain compliance with company policies and employment regulations
• Partner with managers and operations teams to support employees and business needs
