MILL RUN AT UNION is an campus style garden community consisting of 1,186 apartment homes and commercial retail stores. Located on the edge of UNION township, the community is close to major highways (NJ Turnpike, Garden State Parkway, and Rt 22). The staff consists of a Resident Services Department, Leasing Department, and Maintenance Department all working collaboratively to provide exceptional living experiences for our residents.
This temporary position is maternity leave coverage and is estimated to be needed between 12-20 weeks. This position is primarily responsible for performing all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, and general customer service. Interacts directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy. Generates and handles traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation and completing move-in paperwork and procedures. Assists residents throughout their residency.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Sales and/or Customer Service experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
