Temporary- Marketing Administrative AssistantAPN Consulting, Inc. is a progressive IT staffing and services company offering innovative business solutions to improve client business outcomes. We focus on high impact technology solutions in ServiceNow, Fullstack, Cloud & Data, and AI / ML. Due to our globally expanding service offerings we are seeking top-talent to join our teams and grow with us. Position: Temporary- Marketing Administrative Assistant Location: Piscataway, NJ (Hybrid) Duration: ContractThe overall purpose of this position is to support the Client Communications Society's (ComSoc) Marketing team. The incumbent is expected to have strong organizational skills, be able to meet tight deadlines, and work independently. A positive attitude and professional demeanor are critical to this role as there is frequent interaction with volunteers, members, ComSoc office staff, and other organizations. The role reports to the Director of Marketing & Membership and does not manage any direct reports.Specific duties include but are not limited to:Administrative and coordination support of day-to-day marketing functions including communication calendar updates and reporting, email setup, organic and paid social media posting, and data reports as requested by the team.Support of social media content development and schedulingCoordination and assistance with website updatesInteraction with stakeholders to coordinate marketing content for promotional useOther administrative support for the marketing team as assigned.Education and Experience:College degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience is acceptable.2-3 years working in an office environment, with previous marketing experience.Foundational understanding of technical terminology preferred.Prior office experience required.Skills & Other Requirements:Knowledge of Microsoft programs, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Google programs, including Gmail and Google Drive and virtual meeting platforms including Zoom and WebExKnowledge of CRM systems like Hubspot or Salesforce, social media platforms like Sprout Social, email platforms like Marketo, Knak, etc.Working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative SuiteHigh quality standards, including high degree of accuracy in communications and record keeping.Positive, customer-focused attitude in dealing with a variety of volunteers and members.Excellent English language skills (written and oral) and strong organizational skills.Copywriting for email and social mediaAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and track and report status of eachAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentHelpful attitude to anticipate and address administrative issuesStrong time management skills to balance demands and meet schedulesProfessional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential materialUnderstanding of working in a global business environmentWe are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace where individuals from all backgrounds feel valued and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives.
