The Department of Special Education seeks to hire temporary part-time faculty to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Special Education.

The Department of Special Education is committed to addressing issues of significant educational importance to individuals with disabilities. We aim to increase the number of highly qualified and fully credentialed special education professionals who will provide services to children and adults with disabilities throughout the state of New Mexico and beyond.

Positions are contingent upon need each semester as determined by student enrollment, course offering, and demand driven by graduation requirements. Positions may be filled or eliminated each semester up to the deadline for students to add or drop classes.

Candidates who are selected for these positions will report to the Special Education Department Chair.

Applicants are encouraged to indicate which semester they prefer to teach. These positions will remain open until they are filled.
