About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Prevailing Wage & Certified Payroll Specialist Certified Payroll Specialist with strong expertise in Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll reporting. This in-person, temporary position is essential for bringing our certified payroll reporting up to date, supporting compliance with State and Federal requirements. Starting ASAP.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit accurate State and Federal Certified Payroll reports within deadlines.
- Verify that temporary labor wages comply with prevailing wage requirements.
- Review and validate Certified Payroll reports submitted by temporary labor for accuracy and compliance.
- Enter certified payroll data into relevant systems including LCP Tracker, Reunion, DSPTCH, NY DOL, and similar platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' payroll experience focusing specifically on Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll reporting.
- Demonstrated success in completing and auditing Certified Payroll reports consistent with prevailing wage laws.
- Proficiency using payroll reporting software such as LCP Tracker, Reunion, DSPTCH, NY DOL, or equivalents.
- Strong attention to detail and capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Payroll certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience working in an in-person, collaborative office setting.
