SAP PP Consultant/ Manufacturing Troubleshooter (Part-Time Contract)

Location: Peachtree City, GA 
Schedule: Part-Time (Approx. 3–4 hours/day, Mon–Fri)
Pay rate: $60-$90/hr

About the Opportunity

Are you an independent SAP PP expert or local consultant looking to plug a high-impact, short-term gig into your schedule?
We have an immediate, hands-on need for a production-focused SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant to partner with our manufacturing operations in Peachtree City, GA.
This isn't a high-level strategic alignment role or an architecture overhaul—it's an operational "firefighting" project. You will step onto the shop floor, work directly alongside our plant personnel, and resolve day-to-day SAP transaction bottlenecks, backflushing issues, and master data hiccups.

If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, diagnosing real-time inventory and production order issues, and working autonomously without hand-holding, this project is built for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Keep Orders Moving: Create, release, process, confirm, and close production orders efficiently.
• Fix Transaction Errors: Troubleshoot failed backflushes (COGI), goods movements (Goods Issue 261 / Goods Receipt 101), and clearing posting errors.
• Master Data Cleanup: Audit and fix underlying master data issues affecting production, including Material Masters, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Routings, and Work Centers.
• Shop-Floor Support: Serve as the go-to SAP expert for plant operators and supervisors, answering real-time questions and providing practical guidance on the floor.

What We’re Looking For

• Deep SAP PP Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience navigating SAP Production Planning within a active discrete or process manufacturing environment.
• Total Autonomy: You know SAP PP transactions inside and out. You can jump in on Day 1, identify system gaps, and fix errors independently with minimal onboarding.
• Floor-First Mindset: Comfort working side-by-side with manufacturing and shop-floor teams.
• Proximity & Reliability: Able to commute to our Peachtree City, GA facility daily for a 3–4 hour shift during standard business hours.

(Note: Candidates whose SAP experience is exclusively in Finance, HR, Sales, or Procurement will not fit the requirements for this specific operational role.)
