Responsibilities:
· Maintain professional calm demeanor during encounters with guest, visitors, or employees
· Stand an access point post, determine access, and direct traffic
· Communicate in clear understandable English language by two-way radio, telephone, computer, and hard-copy written information
· Maintain professional (clean, neat) appearance
· Work independently with minimal supervision
· Record and disseminate appropriate information regarding access
· Review, check, process, and activate access controls involving automated gates
· Ensure guest and employee safety and security
· Ensure facility security
· Engage in positive Guest and employee interaction, under all types of conditions

Educational Requirements:
· High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
Communication Skills Requirements:
· Ability to effectively communicate verbally, both in person and on the telephone
Additional requirements
· Security service experience preferred
· Possess a valid drivers license
