JOB TITLE: Temporary Part-Time Summer Activities Intern

DEPARTMENT: Food Services

First consideration for employment will be granted to students attending the Chicopee Public Schools.

Stipend: $16.55/hour (up to 80 hours each) per non-union cycle III contract

Dates: June 23, 2025 - August 14, 2026

Funding: FY27 Project Bread Summer Eats Grant

Summer Activities Interns will lead crafts and other activities at our summer meal sites for children and teens participating in our free summer meals program. Typical hours are between 10AM-12PM or 11-1PM, Monday through Friday (10 hours/week plus training & orientation).

• Lead crafts and other activities for kids and teens at our various summer meal sites
• Take photos, create social media posts and marketing materials for our program -Tend to school garden sites and participate in learning events with other interns
