Custodian for Summer Programs (Temporary)

Hours:

Varies - (2nd shift only) 2, 4, 6 or 8 hour positions available

5 days per week M-F

Pay Rate:

$22.37 (Class I, Step 2)

Benefits:

This position is not normally benefits eligible due to the length of the assignment and hours worked. However, if an employee meets the requirements they will be offered benefits, which can be viewed here. Please see Custodial/Transportation Contract for more details.

Requirements:

• Clean and maintain areas of a school building such as sweeping, emptying waste baskets, mopping, vacuuming, minor repairs, setting up for events and take downs
• Prompt, regular and reliable attendance
• Able to lift 60 lbs
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Mechanical ability- HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Basic Repairs, etc. a plus
• Demonstrate written and verbal skills
• Other duties as assigned
