QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be "highly qualified" as defined in the No Child Left Behind Act
Associates Degree or higher or-
60 college credits or-
Passing score on the Work Keys test or the ETS Parapro Assessment
Experience in working with young children in elementary and middle school instructional setting
Good communication skills.
Responsible, dependable and punctual.
Ability to maintain accurate service logs.
Ability to work with a flexible schedule.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pre-Program: Tuesday Thursday
June 23 - June 25, 2026 - Teacher PD and planning
8:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m.
Program: Monday Thursday
June 29 - July 23, 2026
7:45 a.m. 11:45 p.m.
Post-Program: Thursday, July 23, 2026
1:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m.
SALARY/PAY RATE: $18.00 per hour (Summer Academy only)

OTHER:
Upon recommendation for employment, Section 1230g, as amended, of the Revised School Code requires all school employees to be electronically finger printed for the purpose of undergoing a criminal history background check.
