What You'll do
    • Request medical bills for the attorneys by email, fax and other websites
    • Manage emails and portal requests from attorneys
    • Scan bills once received to the EMR
    • Complete payments when needed for the bills we are requesting
    • Follow-up on accounts in a timely manner
    • Communicate with office staff as necessary
    • Other duties as assigned
    Additional Skills/Competencies
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Knowledge of computer applications, including Windows, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
    • Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
    • Detail Oriented
    • Ability to multi-task.
    • Confidence in working independently.
    • Typing – 50+ WPM.
    • Working knowledge of insurance guidelines and billing and collection procedures.
    • Ability to effectively interact with doctors, attorneys, patients, and co-workers.
    Physical/Mental Requirements

    Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting maximum of 20 lbs.
