Overview
We are seeking a Temporary Technical Designer to support product development within the Maternity category. This role will focus on technical design execution, fit consistency, and maintaining high-quality standards across maternity apparel in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Support technical design development for Maternity products.
Create, update, and maintain technical packages and product specifications.
Review garment construction, fit, and measurements to ensure accuracy, comfort, functionality, and consistency.
Partner cross-functionally with Design, Product Development, and Production teams throughout the product development process.
Assist with fit sessions and communicate fit comments, corrections, and construction recommendations.
Ensure product details, materials, and construction standards align with brand expectations while meeting the unique fit and performance needs of maternity apparel.
Maintain organized documentation and support process standardization initiatives.
Qualifications
3+ years of technical design experience in apparel, preferably within the Maternity category.
Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, grading, and measurement standards, including experience with maternity fit considerations.
Experience creating and managing tech packs and product specifications.
Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and PLM systems preferred.
