This position will assist with receiving, sorting, separating, labeling, organizing, and staging parts and materials to prepare the warehouse and production areas for startup operations.The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying materials weighing approximately 40–50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday. The successful candidate must be dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup manufacturing environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSeparate and sort incoming parts, components, and materials by type, part number, work area, or other designated criteria.Apply labels, identification tags, and other required markings to parts and materials.Verify labels and part identification against provided documentation or instructions.Organize and stage materials in designated warehouse and production locations.Assist with initial warehouse setup and material organization.Move, lift, carry, and position parts and materials weighing approximately 40–50 pounds as required.Maintain an organized and clean work area.Assist with inventory organization and basic material counts.Follow established warehouse procedures and supervisor instructions.Use appropriate material-handling equipment and follow all required safety procedures.Report damaged, missing, mislabeled, or incorrectly located materials to the supervisor.Support production and warehouse teams with other startup-related material activities as assigned.Perform all work in accordance with company safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to repeatedly lift and carry materials weighing 40–50 pounds.Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying.Ability to work on your feet for the majority of the shift.Ability to safely maneuver materials in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.QualificationsPrevious warehouse, manufacturing, material handling, quality, or production experience preferred but not required.Ability to read basic labels, part numbers, and written instructions.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.Assignment DetailsAssignment Length: 3 weeksPotential Extension: Yes – based on business needsEmployment Type: TemporaryPrimary Focus: Parts separation, labeling, organization, staging, and material handlingSafety ExpectationsAll employees are expected to follow company safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment (PPE), and immediately report unsafe conditions, injuries, damaged materials, or other safety concerns to their supervisor.
