Provide excellent customer service.Major Duties and Responsibilities:* Collect data on ESY goals/objectives.* Develop instructional program for eligible students to achieve mastery of the essential knowledge and skills.* Consult with campus staff & related services personal to provide an appropriate education for eligible students.* Provide appropriate behavior management techniques for eligible students.* Retain appropriate documentation of skill development and mastery and report progress.* Provide non-medical procedures such as tube feeding and other interventions as necessary for the student.* Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student's progress and needs/concerns.* Oversee the responsibilities of the paraprofessional in implementing student programs.* Provide care for students as related to hygiene, toileting, and nourishment.* Other duties as assigned.* Participate in-service trainings offered by Katy ISD.Equipment Used:Personal computer, copier, printer, calculator, laminator, Smart board, fax machine, and adaptive equipment.Working Conditions:Maintain emotional control under stress. Work with frequent interruptions. Moderate lifting and carrying, 15 - 44 pounds. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom or adaptive equipment. May be required to lift and position students with physical disabilities. Control behavior through physical restraint. Assist non-ambulatory students.
