    Description

    Bay State Community Services is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Full-Time Youth Advocate (Temporary) to join our Beal Street Teen Group Home team. This temporary summer position provides direct care and supervision to youth residing in a residential program. Youth Advocates play a vital role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment while helping youth develop the skills needed to achieve their personal goals.

    This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in behavioral health, psychology, social work, criminal justice, education, or human services who are looking to gain meaningful, hands-on experience working with adolescents.

    What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference...

    • Provide direct supervision and support to youth in a residential setting.
    • Foster a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
    • Build positive, trusting relationships with youth through mentorship and engagement.
    • Assist youth with daily living skills, routines, and recreational activities.
    • Support youth in achieving individualized treatment and behavioral goals.

    Requirements

    The desire to work with youth

    Valid MA driver's license with acceptable driving record

    Additional Experience welcomed . . .

    Experience working with youth

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Child Development, or Teaching

    Residential Experience
