We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Tenant Account Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be an essential part of the resident experience by ensuring account accuracy, supporting lease administration, processing move-outs, coordinating security deposit refunds, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the resident lifecycle.

What You'll Do
As our Tenant Account Specialist, you will:
- Audit lease and move-in documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and update resident account information and records.
- Process resident account adjustments and maintain organized resident files.
- Assist residents with setting up recurring payments and process payments received by phone.
- Answer resident questions regarding account balances, payment history, and account activity.
- Coordinate resident move-outs and prepare security deposit refunds and disposition statements.
- Review move-out charges for accuracy and communicate with former residents regarding final account balances.
- Assist with lease renewal preparation and processing.
- Process reasonable accommodation and reasonable modification requests in accordance with Fair Housing laws.
- Maintain confidential resident records and documentation.
- Partner with community management teams to support resident account needs.
- Assist with reporting, special projects, and other administrative duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience in property management, leasing, customer service, or an administrative role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
