The Department of Economics & Finance in the School of Business and Entrepreneurship at North Central College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Economics and Finance to begin August 1, 2026.
The duties in this role include:
Provide instruction for both introductory, upper-level, and graduate courses in economics and finance, including personal finance, financial literacy, wealth management, insurance, and transfer pricing.
Provide leadership for the Center for Financial Literacy.
Develop curricula for new courses and programs.
Mentor undergraduate students and engage students in research if possible.
Pursue research activities in finance, including writing, dissemination, and presentation of research at national conferences to maintain Scholarly Academic (SA) qualifications.

Salary Range:
The budgeted salary range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000.
Only candidates already authorized to work in the U.S. will be considered. North Central College is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
