The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder is currently seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position. The department and college are particularly interested in qualified candidates who can contribute through their research, teaching, and service to the diversity and excellence of our academic community. This position will be hired at the Assistant Professor rank.

The University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) is one of Colorado's flagship public institutions and among the most research-active public universities in the country. Ranked 11th among public universities for its graduate program and 11th for its undergraduate program by US News, the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering is a world-class department with 38 faculty members, approximately 42 postdoctoral and other research associates, 137 graduate students, and 401 undergraduate students. The department has a proud tradition of academic excellence. We have two robust ABET-accredited undergraduate degree programs, where the emphasis is on interactive learning, computer applications, a wide variety of interdisciplinary options, and undergraduate research. We have created thousands of screencasts and interactive simulations - available on LearnChemE.com - that are accessed millions of times annually.

Applicants must have earned a research doctorate or equivalent degree in chemical engineering, biological engineering, bioengineering, or a related field, and have their degree conferred before starting a tenure-track faculty appointment.
