Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Accounting

Assistant or Associate Professor

Position Description

The Accounting Department at the Lubin School of Business, Pace University, invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in Accounting at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Highly qualified candidates at the Associate Professor level who have demonstrated leadership in research, as well as excellence in teaching and service, may also be considered for one of the department's endowed chair positions, which provide additional research support, release time, and supplemental stipends.

Applicants are expected to have earned a Ph.D. in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution by the time of appointment. The position will remain open until filled.

The anticipated salary range for Assistant and Associate Professors is approximately $165,000 -$195,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and scholarly accomplishments.

Candidates applying at the Assistant Professor level should demonstrate strong research potential and the ability to publish in high-quality refereed academic journals in accounting and related disciplines. Candidates applying at the Associate Professor level should demonstrate an established record of scholarly achievement, including recent publications in leading academic journals.

We welcome applications from all areas of accounting, including but not limited to:

  • Accounting Information Systems

Professional experience and a CPA license are highly desirable.

Candidates should also be willing to teach at Pace University's New York City and Pleasantville (Westchester County) campuses.
