Maintain a full-time workload, which may include teaching in the EMT and Paramedicine Programs, including classroom, clinical, laboratory, and simulation-based courses;
Prepare syllabi and develop curricula for lectures, laboratory, and simulation settings to address course and program student learning outcomes and graduation competencies, as appropriate;
Teach effectively in a traditional, hybrid, and/or online environment;
Serve as an academic advisor to students and maintain office hours;
Participate in College, Division, and Program governance, including attending Division, Department, Advisory Committee, and other committee meetings;
Participate in assessment of course and program learning outcomes;
Maintain a safe environment during skills training and evaluation sessions;
Use technology effectively to communicate with students and colleagues and enhance classroom learning, as appropriate;
Engage in professional development activities to maintain excellence and expertise in classroom/clinical/simulation teaching;
Maintain appropriate paperwork and documentation required by the program and accreditation agencies;
Carry out other related duties as assigned by the Dean, consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
