Job Title: Teradata Developer Role
Location: Charlotte, NC / Plano, TX
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Client Industry: Banking
Duration: 12-18 Months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM EST
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Teradata data warehouse solutions.
- Develop and optimize BTEQ scripts for ETL, data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Create and maintain Unix shell scripts to automate data processing and operational tasks.
- Perform data sourcing, data modeling, and data provisioning activities.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Teradata database performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.
- Support production deployments and resolve data-related issues.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of Teradata development experience.
- Strong expertise in Teradata SQL and BTEQ scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, data modeling, and data provisioning.
- Experience with Teradata performance tuning and query optimization.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $60 - $65 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
