Dunavant Sea Lane Express, LLC is seeking a results-driven Terminal Manager to lead our Nashville terminal operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for the overall performance, profitability, safety, and growth of the terminal. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, drive revenue growth, and maintain accountability for the terminal's financial performance. What You'll Do As the Terminal Manager, you will: Lead all aspects of terminal operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Manage terminal personnel, staffing, training, and employee development. Oversee terminal budgets, P&L performance, operating expenses, and capital expenditures. Partner with sales teams to support business growth and cultivate customer relationships. Ensure compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and company operating standards. Monitor operational processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee equipment, property, leases, and terminal assets. Maintain accurate operational procedures and ensure adherence to company systems and processes. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: Terminal, transportation, logistics, trucking, or supply chain management experience. Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience managing operational performance and financial results. Ability to analyze business metrics and make sound operational decisions. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. Bachelor's degree; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and related industry experience. Why Join DSLX? Work Conditions & Physical Requirements This position is primarily performed in an office environment and requires the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced transportation and logistics operation. The physical and mental requirements of the role include: Sedentary physical activity requiring reaching, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, and hearing. Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Approximately 90% or more of the workday is spent using a computer. Frequent standing, walking, and general mobility throughout the terminal and office environment. Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 15 pounds. Ability to effectively respond to and manage stressful situations as they arise. Occasional movement of boxes and materials from one location to another.
