As a Terminal Operations Manager, you'll oversee cargo handling, facility and equipment readiness, workforce leadership, and regulatory compliance, ensuring seamless coordination between port operations, maintenance, logistics, and customer stakeholders. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to influence terminal performance, develop high-performing teams, build relationships with labor and regulatory partners, and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to customers while supporting the success of a dynamic global supply chain.
What You'll Do:
Responsible for managing the port and/or terminal operations by ensuring the safe discharge, organization, storage, and movement of cargo throughout the terminal.

Education & Credentials:
Bachelor’s degree in business, transportation, or a related field’ or a combination of post-high school education and experience.
Experience:
5 to 10 years working in terminal, logistics and stevedoring operations; 3 to 5 years in a supervisory or management position. Experience administering a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Working Conditions:
Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. May require extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time.
