Overview:
As Big Sky Resort continues to grow, so does our on-mountain experience. The Terrain Park LeadBuilder oversees building and groomingfive terrain parks under supervision of the Terrain Park Manager. Daily maintenance of the terrain parks and construction of new featuresaround the resort is essential for creatingreasonablysafe and enjoyable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities:
Assisting in design of terrain park layout
Build events and features of any size including but not limited to jumps, rail features, and snow features start to finish
Communicate needs and project time lines with terrain park manager, day crew lead, and other groomers
Ensure all park build, grooming, and vehicle logs are accurate and filled out daily
Maintain all parks in "photo worthy" condition
Qualifications:
Candidates must be self-motivated and willing to work longer than scheduled when needed
Must be an expert park rider or skier
Must have minimum 3 years of terrain park building and winch experience
Able to lift up to 50lbs (raking, shoveling, and lifting large metal objects)
Welding experience is a plus
