As the Territory Account Manager for Cleaver-Brooks Sales & Service (CBSS) in Dallas, you’ll report to the Regional Sales Manager and spend your days turning opportunities into long-term partnerships across an assigned region. Morning check-ins align priorities; mid-days are with customers—onsite walk-throughs, RFQ scoping, and solution discussions; afternoons bring quoting, win/loss reviews, and collaborating with internal technical and service teams to keep the entire order lifecycle on track.

What you’ll own

• Grow regional revenue, gross margin, and market share by developing new accounts and deepening existing relationships.
• Lead technical sales and business development across the full CBSS portfolio: new equipment, rentals, retrofits, repairs, parts, and service.
• Research RFQs and information requests with internal resources to ensure proposals align with equipment and use specifications.
• Manage quotes end-to-end and analyze close rates to continuously improve performance.
• Oversee the complete customer/order lifecycle: account setup, responsive quoting, invoice accuracy, and collections follow-through.
• Engage with regional industry associations to monitor competitors, customers, and emerging market trends.
• Serve as the Voice of the Customer, channeling product and partnership feedback to increase CBSS value.
• Partner with leadership to shape and execute local go-to-market strategy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of sales experience specific to commercial and industrial boiler systems.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ throughout the state and region (customer visits, project sites, trade shows, etc.).

Preferred skills

• Outstanding customer-facing communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfort engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels within customer accounts.
• Proven problem-solving, creativity, adaptability, sound judgment, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Familiarity with boiler industry terminology is a plus.

Location: Dallas, TX

Physical skill & effort: Regular computer use, moderate typing, high data accuracy; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.

Conditions & hazards: Office-based with moderate regional travel by car. Customer sites may require site-specific safety compliance and can include boiler room hazards.
