CR&R Incorporated is seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Account Manager to grow and manage waste and recycling business within an assigned territory. This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and helping customers find effective environmental service solutions.
Base/Commission: $60,000 + uncapped commission
The Territory Account Manager plays a key role in expanding commercial, industrial, and construction-related service opportunities while supporting customers with California SB 1383 compliance and sustainability initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities within assigned territory
- Build and maintain relationships with business owners, property managers, contractors, and decision-makers
- Conduct onsite visits, site walks, and customer presentations
- Execute strategic territory plans focused on revenue growth and account development
- Support construction and tenant improvement (TI) projects with container and service solutions
- Manage and retain existing customer accounts through service support, upselling, and renewals
- Coordinate with operations and internal teams to resolve customer service issues
- Negotiate pricing and customized service solutions
- Maintain accurate pipeline, account, and activity tracking in Salesforce
- Provide customers with SB 1383 compliance education and recycling guidance
- Participate in networking, community, and industry events as needed
What We're Looking For
- Valid Driver's License required
- 3+ years of outside sales, account management, or solid waste/recycling industry experience preferred
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment
- Comfortable presenting to customers, businesses, and groups
Education & Experience
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Environmental Science, Public Administration, or related field
OR
- 3+ years of relevant experience in outside sales, account management, or the solid waste and recycling industry
