What You'll DoThe Territory Manager will be responsible for driving sales, margin, and overall customer relationships with the accounts in their assigned region. This individual will also generate new accounts in the selected area as well as determine potential growth within existing accounts.Key RelationshipsYou will report directly to the Sales Manager. This role is remote.LocationThis role requires travel between Connecticut, Central and Western Massachusetts, and North of New York City. The ideal candidate will be based somewhere between Springfield, MA and New Haven, CT.ResponsibilitiesSeek out new profitable opportunities while safeguarding our current business, ensuring both short‑term and long‑term financial gains for the branch.Achieve sales targets that are in line with the financial and customer targets of the branch/region.Ensure Metrie enters a market where it can profitably secure a leading market share by fostering close customer relationships.Effectively represent Metrie's interests when dealing with customers, the community, employees and suppliers.Who You AreA bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceMust have door experienceLove to work in an outside sales environmentExperience in dealing with purchasing agents, senior buyers and small business ownersPassion for customer service and building rapport with prospective and existing customersPassionate about learning, growing knowledge and skills, and have strong analytical skillsValues matter to you.
