- Conduct sales calls to promote, sell, and service BIOTRONIK products and offerings to existing and competitive customers.
- Support patients throughout the educational and clinical process for spinal cord stimulation therapy.
- Provide support and technical assistance during the use of BIOTRONIK products during procedures.
- Develop and implement quarterly sales plan and business reviews to achieve sales goals and objectives, while maintaining forward thinking strategies as protection for market shifts for sustained territory performance.
- Compelled to be a subject matter expert with regards to BIOTRONIK products and platforms, while adapting to changes in the clinical and competitive landscape.
- Builds relationships with key stakeholders (physicians, hospital administrators, Allied Healthcare Professionals, etc) within assigned territory to identify opportunities to promote BIOTRONIK products and services.
- Complete administrative reporting as assigned (for example: expense reports, account profiles and analysis, daily planners, competitive updates, and inventory log).
- Provide ongoing field intelligence reports on competitive activity, changes in markets, distribution, and pricing, as well as input on customer preferences and product features.
- Manage time and company resources in an effective way to control unnecessary expenses/assets.
- Effectively utilize sales collateral and sales support tools to support promotional and territorial needs.
- Train and educate both existing and new customers on the availability and use of BIOTRONIK’s product portfolio.
- Maintain fiscal responsibility for assigned BIOTRONIK asset management, including inventory and capital equipment.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Physiology, Biology, Bioengineering, Business, or a related field; alternatively, 4 years of relevant professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the medical device or biotechnology industry.
- Experience in interventional pain/spine sales preferred, including at least 1 year in a customer-facing sales role.
- Neuromodulation experience within the pain management market is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in implementing and leading regional projects and initiatives.
- Proven sales performance, including quota attainment and achievement of key performance metrics; regional, area, or national sales awards are an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, the ability to thrive in a diverse, team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to establish, develop, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities, including the ability to prioritize competing demands and consistently meet deadlines.
- Solid knowledge of the implantable medical device market and broader healthcare environment.
- Ability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and referral sources.
- Experience conducting multiple referral calls and customer interactions on a daily basis.
- Proficiency with Windows-based applications and the ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize platforms such as Salesforce, Smartsheet, and other business systems.
- Must be able to satisfy all healthcare facility credentialing and administrative requirements necessary to perform job duties.
- Commitment to compliance with FDA regulations, company policies, operating procedures, quality standards, and required compliance training.
- Flexibility to support business and clinical responsibilities during regular business hours, as well as evenings, weekends, and on-call periods when required.
- Ability to work effectively across a geographically diverse territory.
Physical Demands
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, move, and position equipment or materials weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, balancing, and other physical activities associated with clinical and field-based work.
- Ability to remain independently mobile throughout the workday.
- Regular operation of computers, mobile devices, and standard office productivity equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, healthcare providers, customers, and patients to exchange accurate information.
- Ability to review and interpret anatomical structures using radiographic imaging.
- Compliance with all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and healthcare facility safety standards.
- Ability to stand or remain in a stationary position for extended periods, including up to 8 hours per day and up to 4 continuous hours when necessary.
Travel Requirements
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance are required.
- Extensive travel within the assigned territory, typically exceeding 80% of working time.
- Ability to travel outside the assigned territory up to 20% of the time, including occasional overnight stays.
- Availability to provide territory coverage on a 24/7 on-call basis when required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel and work outside standard business hours to support customer, business, and clinical needs.

BIOTRONIK Neuro is looking to add a Territory Manager to our Neuromodulation Segment in Tucson, Arizona. As Territory Manager you will gain market share and achieve sales quota in the spinal cord stimulation business by promoting, selling, and servicing the Biotronik product platform within an assigned territory. The Territory Manager performs field promotional work to sell and develop new business; it may include work with established accounts, or with customers where product acceptance has not been established. Has the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders in a dynamic sales environment. Able to work independently to exceed sales expectations, while implementing leadership contributions at the Regional level. Will demonstrate tactical, strategic, and analytical skills in business planning and outlook. Biotronik seeks candidates who will meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. BIOTRONIK is dedicated to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position is $80,000-135,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a commission plan, with earning potential based on sales performance. Total compensation (base salary + commission) will reflect performance. BIOTRONIK also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other perks.
